OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: THE MUSEUM REOPENS AS A HACKLAB,
A PERMANENT REPAIR AND RESTORATION WORKSHOP!

Considering that we have very limited space, that we’re ALWAYS in the middle of ongoing projects, repairs, and restorations, that we’re constantly moving equipment and materials around and playing a real-life game of Tetris (because, again, space is limited), that we repair countless items without always knowing where to put them afterward, and that we still have dozens of boxes and pieces of equipment waiting to be organized between the workshop, storage room, library, and the 3D printers room…

WE’VE DECIDED THERE’S NO POINT IN WAITING UNTIL EVERYTHING IS PERFECTLY ORGANIZED.

SO WE’RE REOPENING OUR ACTIVITIES, EMBRACING OUR HISTORIC HACKLAB SPIRIT RATHER THAN A TRADITIONAL MUSEUM EXHIBITION!

So…

WE ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN FOR VISITS BY APPOINTMENT — BUT PLEASE NOTE:

DON’T EXPECT A TRADITIONAL MUSEUM EXHIBITION, BECAUSE WE SIMPLY DON’T HAVE ENOUGH SPACE FOR ONE!

What you will find instead:

• Ongoing repair and restoration projects
• Activities in the electronics workshop
• Documentation and artifact cataloging work
• The opportunity to get hands-on with the equipment
• A chance to help us organize, repair, and restore things while learning new skills
• Games and fun with historic computers and game consoles
• Hopefully, the opportunity to learn something new and enjoyable!
